Laminates

Nokamex and Thermex laminates are high performance insulating products. Nokamex laminate is made of a polyimide film (colored polymer with exceptional properties). It also has one side with calendared aramid paper. The Thermex range offers several types of laminate: flexible two, three or four layer insulating materials. Nokamex and Thermex insulating materials can be custom cut according to your specifications.

 

Numerous laminates are available:

  • 2,3, 4 or 5 layers according to the end use
  • Very high dielectric strength due to the PET, PI films
  • Porous surface, can be impregnated thanks to cellulosic or aramid papers, non-woven polyester;
  • From very flexible to very rigid according to the thickness and the used components
  • Wide range of thicknesses from
  • Very large service temperature from 120°C to 200°C according to the nature of these components.

 

Technical data

 
Mylarcellite duplex (Thickness in microns). This insulating laminate is made up of a 23 ?m polyethylene terephtalate film where on one side a kraft paper or a transformerboard is stuck.

Tercron Insulating laminate made up of a polyethylene terephtalate film where on each side a non woven

Thermex 4 ply : Flexible insulating 4-ply material made of two polyethylene terephtalate films of 300µm taken in sandwich between two aramid calendered papers having a nominal thickness of 50µm.
This insulating material declines in a single thickness: 0,80mm.
